Biography
Sergey Kolesnikov was a Soviet and Russian actor and television presenter. Born in Moscow in 1955, he trained at the Moscow Art Theatre School and worked at the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre from 1990 until 2011. He received the title of Honored Artist of Russia in 1994.
Kolesnikov appeared in films including Cold Souls (2009) as Dimitri, A Good Day to Die Hard (2013) as Viktor Chagarin, and Black Sea (2014) as Levchenko. His television roles include an Orthodox priest in McMafia (2018). Between 2006 and 2012 he presented the programme Fazenda on Channel One Russia.
He died in Moscow in 2023.
