Biography
Sergio Calderón (1945–2023) was a Mexican-born American actor. He trained at the Instituto Andrés Soler of the Asociación Nacional de Actores in Mexico City and made his screen debut in The Bridge in the Jungle (1970). His career spanned six decades.
Calderón appeared in films including Duck, You Sucker (1971), The In-Laws (1979), Men in Black (1997) as Jose, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (2007) as Captain Villanueva, The Ruins (2008) and Little Fockers (2010). He also had television roles such as Malavida Valdez in The A-Team (1983). He died in Los Angeles on 31 May 2023.
