Biography
Shaheed Qaasim is a television editor. He has edited episodes of Poker Face (2023), The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live (2024), Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist (2024) and Modern Family (2013–2015).
Qaasim began in production and visual effects roles, including work on Deadwood (2004–2006). He later moved into editing and has credits on series including Reboot (2022) and Taken (2017). He is a member of the Motion Picture Editors Guild and the Television Academy.
He has a background in competitive swing dancing, which he has cited as influencing his approach to rhythm and timing in editing.
