Biography
Shannon Mitchell is a Canadian film and television editor. She began her career as a production assistant on feature films in Montreal before taking an editing position with the National Film Board in Vancouver, where she apprenticed in the craft.
Mitchell has edited multiple episodes of series including Californication (2007–2014), Orange Is the New Black (2013–2019), Better Things (2016–2022) and Lawmen: Bass Reeves (2023). She is a member of the American Cinema Editors and has received Primetime Emmy nominations for her work.
