Biography
Shaun Grant is an Australian screenwriter and producer. He is known for his frequent collaborations with director Justin Kurzel, beginning with the screenplay for Snowtown (2011).
Grant wrote the screenplays for Berlin Syndrome (2017), Jasper Jones (2017), True History of the Kelly Gang (2019), Penguin Bloom (2020) and Nitram (2021). He received a teleplay credit on the second season of the Netflix series Mindhunter (2019). He also created and wrote the 2025 miniseries The Narrow Road to the Deep North.
Grant has received multiple awards from the Australian Writers' Guild and the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts.
