Biography
Shayar Bhansali is a film editor based in Los Angeles. Originally from Kolkata, India, he began his career working on documentaries and narrative films in Bollywood before relocating to the United States.
He is an alumnus of the American Film Institute. Bhansali has collaborated repeatedly with director Julia Hart and producer Jordan Horowitz, editing Stargirl (2020) and Hollywood Stargirl (2022) for Disney+, as well as I'm Your Woman (2020) for Amazon Studios. His other credits include Standing Up, Falling Down (2019) and Don't Say Good Luck (2026).
