Biography

Sheeba Chaddha is an Indian film, stage and television actress. She grew up in Delhi and studied English literature at Hansraj College, University of Delhi, where she developed an interest in theatre.

Chaddha made her screen debut in the television series Shri Krishna (1993) and appeared in the film Dil Se.. (1998). She is known for roles including Raees' mother in Raees (2017), Nirmala in Talaash (2012), Hamida Firdausi in Gully Boy (2019), Vasudha Pandit in Mirzapur (2018), and Sangeeta Sharma in Badhaai Ho (2018). In 2026 she played Tahira in the series Bait.

She received a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress for Badhaai Do (2022) and a nomination for the same award for Doctor G (2022).
