Biography
Sheila Amos (27 July 1946 – 11 July 2010) was an American film and television editor. She began her editing career in Los Angeles after moving there in the mid-1970s.
Amos is known for her work on the sitcoms Cheers (1989–1991), for which she edited 13 episodes, Mad About You (1992–1999), with 154 episodes, and Frasier (1999–2004), editing five episodes. She also edited the feature film The Thing About My Folks (2005). She received two Primetime Emmy nominations, for Cheers in 1991 and Mad About You in 1995.
Amos died in New York City from leukaemia.
