Biography
Shelley Thompson is a Canadian actress. Born in Calgary, Alberta, she trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and worked extensively in the United Kingdom before returning to Canada.
She played Sarah's stepmother in Jim Henson's Labyrinth (1986). Thompson is best known for her role as Barbara Lahey in the Canadian series Trailer Park Boys (2001–2018) and its film adaptations. Her other screen credits include Haven (2010), Rookie Blue (2010), We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story (1993) and The Good House (2021). She has also worked as a writer and director.
