Biography
Sherry White is a Canadian screenwriter, producer, director and actress from Stephenville, Newfoundland and Labrador. She studied theatre at Memorial University of Newfoundland and began her career in independent film before moving into television writing and producing.
She wrote episodes of series including Rookie Blue (2010–2015), Saving Hope (2012–2017), Orphan Black (2015), Frontier (2016–2018) and The Catch (2016). Her feature screenwriting credits include Maudie (2016) and earlier films such as Crackie (2009), which she also directed. She co-created and executive produced the series Pretty Hard Cases and Little Dog.
