Biography
Sheu Fang-Yi, also credited as Sheu Fangyi or Hui Fong-Yi, is a Taiwanese actor, dancer and choreographer. Born on 15 September 1971 in Yilan County, she trained at the Taipei National University of the Arts and became a principal dancer with the Martha Graham Dance Company in New York.
She has appeared in several films, including Touch of the Light (2012) as Teacher Hsu and The Assassin (2015) as Princess Jiacheng / Taoist Nun. In 2022 she starred in and choreographed the autobiographical film Salute, for which she received the Golden Horse Award for Best Action Choreography.
