Biography
Shin Hyun-been (born Kwak Hyun-been) is a South Korean actress. She graduated from the Korea National University of Arts with a degree in Art Theory and made her acting debut in the 2010 film He's on Duty, for which she received the Best New Actress award at the 47th Baeksang Arts Awards.
She gained wider recognition for her role as Jang Gyeo-ul in the television series Hospital Playlist (2020–2021). Her other notable credits include the films Confidential Assignment (2017), Beasts Clawing at Straws (2020) and The Closet (2020), as well as series such as Reborn Rich (2022) and Monstrous (2022). She has collaborated repeatedly with director Yeon Sang-ho.
In 2026 she appears as Kong Seol-hee in the film Colony.
