Biography
Shin Kishida (岸田 森) was a Japanese actor, voice actor and screenwriter. He trained at the Bungakuza theatre troupe after studying at Hosei University and began his career in stage and film in the early 1960s.
He appeared in supporting roles in numerous films and television series, including Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart at the River Styx (1972), Zatoichi Meets Yojimbo (1970), Kill! (1968), Lake of Dracula (1971), Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla (1974) as Interpol Agent Nanbara, and Evil of Dracula (1974). He also contributed screenplays to tokusatsu series under the pseudonym Shin Akekawa.
Kishida died of oesophageal cancer on 28 December 1982, aged 43.
