Biography
Shin Wakabayashi, also credited as 若林 信, is a Japanese anime director, episode director, storyboard artist and animator. He began working in the industry in the late 2000s, contributing key animation to series such as Toradora! (2008) and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (2009).
He worked on Attack on Titan (2013) as episode director, storyboard artist and key animator for episode 18. Wakabayashi has directed episodes of ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept. (2017) and Eromanga Sensei (2017). He served as series director on Wonder Egg Priority (2021). Previously affiliated with XEBEC, he now works as a freelancer and has been involved in training directors at CloverWorks.
