Biography
Shinosuke Tatekawa (立川志の輔) is a Japanese rakugo performer and actor. Born Teruo Takeuchi on 15 February 1954 in Shinminato, Toyama Prefecture (now part of Imizu City), he trained under the seventh-generation Tatekawa Danshi and is affiliated with the rakugo Tatekawa school.
He provided the voice of Lord Inbe no Akita in the Studio Ghibli film The Tale of The Princess Kaguya (2013). He also voiced Bruno in Poupelle of Chimney Town (2020) and has appeared in other films including The Island of Cats (2019) and Dreaming of the Meridian Arc (2022).
