Biography
Shinpei Ezaki is a Japanese animation director. He began his career at Production I.G in 2005, initially working in production roles before making his directing debut in 2008 with an episode of Antique Bakery. He remained with the studio until around 2011, when he became a freelance director.
Ezaki has directed episodes or served as series director on several anime series and films. His credits include episode direction on Attack on Titan (2013), Blue Exorcist (2011) and From Me to You: Kimi ni Todoke (2009), series direction on Guilty Crown (2011), HANEBADO! (2018) and Vivy -Fluorite Eye's Song- (2021), and chief direction on Woodpecker Detective's Office (2020).
