Biography
Shion Takeuchi is an American writer, animator, storyboard artist and producer. She began her career as an intern on Adventure Time and worked as a writer and storyboard artist on Regular Show (2010–2011). She later contributed to the story department at Pixar on the films Monsters University (2013) and Inside Out (2015).
Takeuchi joined the writing staff of the Disney series Gravity Falls (2014–2016), for which she received two Annie Award nominations. She has also written episodes of Disenchantment (2018–2019) and Lost in Oz (2016–2018). She created, executive produced and wrote the Netflix series Inside Job (2021–2022).
Takeuchi graduated from the California Institute of the Arts with a BFA in animation.
