Biography
Shruti Kumar is a composer, arranger and conductor working in New York, London and Los Angeles. She completed undergraduate studies at the Juilliard School and Columbia University, and a master’s degree at New York University, where she is now an adjunct faculty member at the Clive Davis Institute.
Kumar composed the score for the six-part series Bait (2026), created by Riz Ahmed and released on Amazon Prime Video after premiering at the Sundance Film Festival. Her other credits include the Alicia Keys documentary Uncharted (2023), additional music for Interview with the Vampire (2022–2024), and Peter Pan & Wendy (2023). She has also arranged music for Walt Disney Imagineering’s Haunted Mansion Experience and scored the feature This Will Never Work (2025).
