Biography
Shukree Hassan Tilghman is a writer and producer working in American television. He has contributed episodes to series including The Vampire Diaries (2009), where he also served as executive story editor, This Is Us (2016) and Animal Kingdom (2016).
Tilghman grew up in Newark, Delaware, and later moved to Los Angeles. He wrote and directed the 2012 documentary More Than a Month, which aired as part of PBS's Independent Lens. He has also written for Satisfaction (2014) and later series such as Bel-Air and Emperor of Ocean Park (2024).
He has received Emmy nominations for his producing work on This Is Us.
