Biography
Sibel Kekilli is a German actress. She was born on 16 June 1980 in Heilbronn, Germany, to Turkish immigrant parents.
Kekilli was discovered by a casting director in 2002 and made her film debut as Sibel Güner in Fatih Akın’s Head-On (2004). She won the German Film Award (Lola) for Best Actress for the role. She received a second Lola for her performance in When We Leave (2010).
From 2011 she played Shae in the HBO series Game of Thrones. Other credits include When We Leave, What a Man (2011) and Berlin, I Love You (2019).
