Biography
Sidney Sidell is a cinematographer who has worked on numerous television series and feature films. He is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers.
Sidell began his career in the early 1980s as a film loader on the series Dynasty. He progressed through assistant camera roles on features and television before becoming a director of photography, initially on commercials and independent films. His television credits include Bones (2005), for which he served as director of photography on the Miami unit of one episode; Life (2007); Kingdom (2014–2017), on which he also directed and produced episodes; Empire (2015); and Praise This (2023).
He has received Local Emmy and Clio award nominations for his work.
