Biography
Signe Hasso was a Swedish actress. Born Signe Eleonora Cecilia Larsson in Stockholm, she began performing on stage as a child and trained at the Royal Dramatic Theatre, where she was one of its youngest students. She appeared in Swedish films and stage productions before moving to the United States in 1940.
In Hollywood she appeared in Heaven Can Wait (1943) as Yvette ("Mademoiselle"), The Seventh Cross (1944), A Double Life (1947) and other films of the 1940s. Later credits include guest roles in television series such as The Outer Limits, Starsky & Hutch, Quincy, M.E. and Magnum, P.I.. She also worked as a writer and composer.
