Biography
Sigur Rós is an Icelandic band that has composed original music for film and television. Formed in Reykjavík in 1994, the group consists of Jónsi Birgisson, Georg Hólm and other members over time.
Their screen credits as composers include the Black Mirror episode 'Hang the DJ' (2017), for which they co-wrote two pieces with Alex Somers; the feature Lords of Chaos (2018); and Immortal (2004). They have also contributed music to other productions including Vanilla Sky (2001) and Aquaman (2018).
