Biography
Silverio Palacios Montes is a Mexican actor, screenwriter and director. He was born on 1 January 1967 in Colima, Mexico, and trained at the Centro Universitario de Teatro of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. He began his career in theatre in the early 1980s with the Compañía de Teatro of the University of Colima and later joined the Compañía Nacional de Teatro.
Palacios is known for roles including Jesús 'Chuy' Carranza in Y Tu Mamá También (2001), Tony 'El Caníbal' in Killing Cabos (2004), the head jailer in The Legend of Zorro (2005) and Atayde in The Thin Yellow Line (2015). He has received five Ariel Award nominations and appeared in films such as El Infierno (2010) and Blue Miracle (2021), as well as television series including The Accident (2024).
