Biography
Simran Baidwan is a television writer and producer. She began her career in the industry as an assistant on House before working as a writer and in various production roles on series including Royal Pains, Chicago Med, The Good Doctor and Manifest.
Baidwan has written episodes of The Pitt (2025), on which she also serves as executive producer. The series won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series in 2025. She previously contributed to Bull, Conviction and Ordinary Joe, and was showrunner on the comedy series Clean Slate (2025).
She was born in San Jose, California, and studied political science and communications before working as a criminal prosecutor.
