Biography
Sky Yang, also credited as Sky Chi Y. Yang, is a British actor and filmmaker. Born in 1999 in Lambeth, South London, he trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), graduating in 2020 with a BA in Acting. He was named a 2023 Screen International Star of Tomorrow.
Yang's film credits include the role of Chinese Kid in Tomb Raider (2018), Aris in Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire (2023) and its 2024 sequel, Rel Taylor in Whistle (2025), Moses Ho in Anniversary (2025), and John Allen Chau in Last Days (2025). On television he played Ruben in Halo (2022) and Stephen Chen in Holding (2022). He appears as the Scribe in The Uprising (2026). Yang has also directed and written short films and performed on stage, including at the Royal Court Theatre.
