Skylar Aleece Smith is an American actress. She portrayed Maretha in the 2024 film The Piano Lesson, directed by Malcolm Washington.
She began acting as a child, appearing in the 2019 BET holiday film Christmas Belles. Her subsequent credits include the role of Young Joy in an episode of the television series Evil Lives Here (2024) and appearances in The Cuzzn M Show and The Fun in Funny.
For her performance in The Piano Lesson, Smith received the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Performance by a Youth in a Motion Picture. She has also worked as a model.
