Biography
Sofia Lindgren is a Swedish film and television editor. Born on 29 July 1965 in Halland, she trained in editing at Dramatiska Institutet in Stockholm, with additional studies at Den Danske Filmskole and a masterclass with Hervé Schneid at the European Film Academy.
Lindgren has edited series including the first season of The Bridge (2011), Young Royals (2021–2022) and 1899 (2022), as well as features such as Hamilton: In the Interest of the Nation (2012), A Thousand Times Good Night (2013) and Off Track (2022). She won a Guldbagge Award for best editing for The Ketchup Effect (2004) and has served on the Guldbagge jury five times. She also lectures on film editing and works as a script reader.
