Biography

Soji Arai, also credited as Sohee Park or Park So-hee, is a Japanese actor of Korean descent. Born on 19 December 1975 in Niigata Prefecture, Japan, he graduated from Waseda University and began his career with the Bungakuza theatre company. In 2002 he gained attention for his starring role as Max in the production of Bent directed by Robert Allan Ackerman.

Arai has appeared in stage productions including Angels in America and films such as The Ramen Girl (2008). On television he is known for the role of Mozasu in the Apple TV+ series Pachinko (2022–2024), as well as parts in Tokyo Vice (2022) and Cobra Kai (2018). He works between Tokyo and Los Angeles and speaks Korean, Japanese and English.
