Biography
Soni Razdan is a British-Indian actress and film director. She was born on 25 October 1956 in Birmingham, England. Razdan made her screen debut in the 1981 film 36 Chowringhee Lane and gained recognition for her role in Saaransh (1984).
She has appeared in numerous Hindi films and television series, including Monsoon Wedding (2001) as Saroj Rai, Raazi (2018) as Teji, War (2019) and War 2 (2025) as Nafisa Rahmani, and Patiala House (2011). Razdan plays Nalia in the 2026 Amazon Prime series Bait. She is married to director Mahesh Bhatt and is the mother of actress Alia Bhatt.
