Biography
Sonia Acevedo is an American actress. She played Maria in the 2017 film A Ghost Story and appeared as Mother in the television series Queen of the South (2016).
Her other screen credits include Alamo Gold (2008), in which she played Maria, All She Can (2011), Cry (2013) as Mrs. Rodriguez, and The Jonas Project (2012) as Nurse Becky. She graduated from the University of Texas-Pan American with a B.A. in Marketing.
