Biography
Sophie Becher is a British production designer working in film, television and commercials. She began her career as a sculptor and theatre designer before progressing through the art department. Her first production design credit was the BBC/Working Title miniseries The Borrowers (1992–1993), for which she received an RTS Award and two BAFTA nominations.
Becher’s film credits include Alfie (2004), Run Fatboy Run (2007), Flawless (2007), Hysteria (2011), Lost in London (2017), A Private War (2018) and You Should Have Left (2020). Television work encompasses the series Mars (2016–2018) and Halo (2022). She has also designed high-profile commercials and received a Women in Film and TV Craft Award.
