Biography
Sophie Canale is a British costume designer. She began her career in the costume department on films including Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014) and Assassin's Creed (2016), later working as assistant costume designer on Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018) and the first season of Bridgerton (2020).
Canale advanced to lead costume designer on the second season of Bridgerton (2022). She designed the costumes for Saltburn (2023), drawing on 2000s fashion references including her own archives and images of Princes William and Harry. Her other credits as costume designer include Eat Locals (2017), The Cut (2024) and Now You See Me: Now You Don't (2025). She has received an Emmy nomination and other awards recognition for her work.
