Biography
Sophie Skelton (born 7 March 1994) is an English actress. She is best known for her role as Brianna MacKenzie in the Starz series Outlander (2016–).
Skelton was born and raised in Woodford, Stockport. She trained in ballet from the age of three at the Royal Academy in London and performed in stage productions including musical theatre before her first professional television roles. She attended Stockport Grammar School and turned down a place to study English Literature at King's College London to pursue acting.
Her early screen credits include episodes of DCI Banks (2012), Waterloo Road (2013) and Foyle's War (2015). She has also appeared in the series Ren (2016) and voiced Julia Belmont in Castlevania: Nocturne (2023).
