Biography
Sophie Vavasseur is an Irish actress and television presenter. Born in Dublin on 10 May 1992, she began her career as a child performer with stage work and commercials before making her screen debut.
She is known for her title role as Evelyn Doyle in the 2002 film Evelyn, for which she received a Young Artist Award nomination, and as Angie Ashford in Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004). Subsequent credits include Becoming Jane (2007), Northanger Abbey (2007), Exorcismus (2010), Princess Ellisif in the series Vikings (2013), Flora and Son (2023) and Mr Malcolm's List (2022). She has also appeared on stage at the Gate Theatre and presented the fashion programme Love, Style, Repeat (2023).
