Biography
Stanley Ralph Ross was an American writer and actor. Born Stanley Ralph Rosenberg in 1935, he was raised in Brooklyn, New York. He began his career in advertising before moving into television writing.
Ross wrote for numerous series including Batman (1966), for which he contributed multiple episodes, The Monkees (1966), The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (1964), Columbo (1971) and All in the Family (1971). He received Emmy and Writers Guild of America Award nominations for an episode of All in the Family. He also developed or co-created series such as Wonder Woman (1975) and The Kallikaks (1977), and wrote several television films.
In addition to writing, Ross worked as an actor and voice artist on dozens of productions. He died in Los Angeles in 2000.
