Biography

Stanley Weiser is an American screenwriter. Born in New York City in 1953, he is a graduate of the NYU Film School.

His screen credits include the 1987 film Wall Street, co-written with Oliver Stone, and W. (2008), also directed by Stone. He wrote the screenplay for Project X (1987) and is credited with creating characters for the sequel Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (2010). Other works include the teleplays for Fatherland (1994) and Murder in Mississippi (1990), as well as Freedom Song (2000) and Witness to the Mob (1998).
