Biography
Star Jones is an American actress, television personality, lawyer and producer. Born Starlet Marie Jones on 24 March 1962 in Badin, North Carolina, she began her career as a prosecutor before moving into broadcasting.
She is best known as a co-host of the ABC daytime talk show The View from 1997 to 2006. Jones has appeared as herself in episodes of series including Sports Night (1998), Spin City (2000) and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), and played Holly Davis in the 2006 film Relative Strangers.
