Biography
Stefania Rocca is an Italian actress. She was born on 24 April 1971 in Turin.
She studied piano, singing and dancing at the Teatro Stabile di Torino from adolescence. In the late 1980s she worked as a model in Milan and took acting courses there. In 1993 she joined the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome on a scholarship and later studied at the Actors Studio in New York.
Rocca made her screen debut in the mid-1990s. Her breakthrough came with the role of Naima in Nirvana (1997). She is also known for playing Silvana in The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999), Regina in Heaven (2002) and Anna Mari in The Card Player (2004). She has appeared in further Italian and international films and received Nastro d'Argento nominations for best actress.
