Biography
Steffen Mennekes is a German actor born on 10 April 1981 in Siegen. He trained at Vancouver Film School and has worked in both the Canadian and German film industries for over twenty years.
He is known for his role as Cullen in the Netflix series The Queen's Gambit (2020). Other credits include Wilhelm von Rüttenberg in Squadron 303 (2018), Mirko Heuser in Beat (2018), and supporting parts in films such as Race (2016) and Clouds of Sils Maria (2014). Mennekes has also written and produced several short films and features.
