Biography
Stela Freitas, also credited as Stella Freitas, is a Brazilian actress and theatre director. She was born on 18 May 1954 in São Paulo.
Freitas is known for supporting roles in telenovelas including Sassaricando (1987) as Dinalda, Era Uma Vez... (1998) as Quitéria and Senhora do Destino (2004) as Cícera. In film she appeared as Yolanda in Central Station (1998) and won the best supporting actress award at the 1990 Gramado Film Festival for Stelinha. She has also directed theatre productions and written for film.
