Biography
Stéphane Varupenne is a French actor. He graduated from the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique (CNSAD) in 2007 and joined the Comédie-Française as a pensionnaire that year, becoming a sociétaire in 2015.
His screen credits include the role of Caderousse in The Count of Monte Cristo (2024), the father in Petite Maman (2021), Eric de la Meignière in Godard Mon Amour (2017), and Lodovico in Chocolat (2016). He has also appeared in stage productions with the Comédie-Française and worked as a writer and musician.
