Biography
Stephanie Gillis is an American television writer. She has written eleven episodes of the animated series The Simpsons since 2005, including "See Homer Run" (2005), "The Burns and the Bees" (2008), "Once Upon a Time in Springfield" (2010), "Treehouse of Horror XXV" (2014) and "Bart's Not Dead" (2018).
Gillis is a graduate of Barnard College. She has received two Primetime Emmy Award nominations, five Writers Guild of America Award nominations and two Annie Award nominations. She won the 2015 Annie Award for Best Animated Television/Broadcast Production for "Treehouse of Horror XXV" and the 2019 Writers Guild of America Award for Outstanding Writing in Animation for "Bart's Not Dead".
She is married to fellow The Simpsons writer Al Jean; they wed in Enniskerry, Ireland, in 2002.
