Biography
Stephen Plunkett is an American actor. Born on 1 September 1981 in Jacksonville, Texas, he earned a BFA from the University of Evansville and an MFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
He began his career in New York theatre, making his Broadway debut in War Horse (2011) and appearing in productions including The Orphans’ Home Cycle. He is an associate artist with The Civilians and received a Drama Desk Special Award.
Plunkett is known for his leading role in the film The Mend (2014) and as Robert Saunders in the series Rise (2018). His television credits include guest appearances in Fosse/Verdon (2019) as Paul Grantner, The Blacklist (2019), Bull (2019), FBI: International (2022) and East New York (2022), as well as the film Chained for Life (2019).
