Biography
Stephenson Ardern-Sodje is a British actor and stage performer. He trained at the Royal Academy of Music, leaving early to join the West End production of Hamilton, where he understudied the roles of Alexander Hamilton and John Laurens/Philip Hamilton and made his debut in the title role within a month.
His stage credits include the title role of Simba in the UK and Ireland tour of The Lion King, the principal role of Daniel in Once On This Island at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, and appearances in Globe Theatre tours of As You Like It, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Tempest. He has also appeared in Starter For Ten at Bristol Old Vic and other productions.
On screen, Ardern-Sodje has played a waiter in season two of the Sky series Breeders, Harry Whitlock in the 2023 television film A Very English Christmas, Lawrence in the 2024 short Reel Terror, and Theo in the 2025 series The Girlfriend. He hosts the podcast Generation Vex.
