Biography
Steve Brown is a television writer and producer. He contributed as a writer to Cagney & Lacey and served as a producer on the series from 1983 to 1986.
His other writing credits include episodes of Murder, She Wrote (1990), L.A. Law (1992), Sliders (1996) and Diagnosis: Murder. He also produced episodes of Diagnosis: Murder (1999–2001). He has received two Primetime Emmy Awards.
