Biography
Steve Howey is an American actor. Born Steven Michael Robert Howey on 12 July 1977 in San Antonio, Texas, he attended Northeastern Junior College in Colorado on a basketball scholarship before training at his father's acting workshop.
He first gained prominence as Van Montgomery in the sitcom Reba (2001–2007). He is best known for playing Kevin Ball in the Showtime series Shameless (2011–2021).
Howey has appeared in films including Bride Wars (2009), Something Borrowed (2011) and Day Shift (2022), and in series such as New Girl, Sons of Anarchy and Psych.
