Biography
Steve Paymer is an American actor, writer and producer. Born on 28 September 1951, he began his career in broadcast journalism before moving to Los Angeles to pursue screenwriting.
He wrote for series including Roseanne (two episodes in 1990) and served as co-producer and writer on Mad About You. Paymer later transitioned to acting, appearing in guest roles on Will & Grace, The King of Queens, The Big Bang Theory and others. He is the older brother of actor David Paymer.
