Biography
Steve Polivka is an American film and television editor. He began his career in the late 1970s as an assistant editor on features including The Muppet Movie (1979) and UHF (1989).
Polivka has edited numerous television series, including episodes of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (1995–1999), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2004–2009), Alphas (2011), Sneaky Pete (2017–2018) and Snowpiercer (2020). His feature editing credits include Teen Wolf Too (1987), Volunteers (1985) and Santa's Slay (2005). He also directed one episode of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and received a Primetime Emmy nomination for editing the television film Killing Lincoln (2013).
