Biography
Steve Rosen is an American actor and writer who has appeared in numerous television series and films. He played Ernie Turk in the pilot episode of Masters of Sex (2013) and has had recurring roles as Public Defender Guthrie in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, York Evans in The Resident, and guest appearances in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Blue Bloods, Psych and The Equalizer.
On film he has worked with directors including Woody Allen in Café Society (2016), where he played Louis, as well as Todd Solondz and Barry Levinson. In theatre he originated roles on Broadway in Monty Python's Spamalot and The Farnsworth Invention, and played Benny Southstreet in a revival of Guys and Dolls. He has received multiple Drama Desk and Lucille Lortel Award nominations for his stage work as an actor and writer-composer.
